Steven was born in China and raised in XinJiang throughout his teenage years. Steven earned his Bachelor of Clinical Medicine degree from the Xi’An JiaoTong University of Xi’an China in 2000. Steven practiced as a medical doctor in China. After obtaining his life insurance licences in financial security planning in 2012, Steven began his career of being a “financial doctor.” Similar to a medical doctor, a “financial doctor” meets with clients, listens to their stories, and asks stimulating questions to help clients identify and prioritize their short term and long term personal and financial goals.

Steven is a member of the Million Dollar Round Table.

Amanda Zhao, BA

Amanda Zhao

Amanda was born and raised in Xi’an, China. Amanda obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Business English from Xi’an International Studies University in 1999. Amanda lectured at Xi’an Jiaotong University between 1999 and 2006. In 2006 Amanda obtained her life insurance licence in financial security planning and began her career as a financial security advisor and then in 2012 she became a training manager in Vancouver.

What Amanda loves most about this business is helping people to reach their financial security goals. She feels her job is to inform and educate clients, whether they are successful business owners or business professionals, seniors, or average families, on what options are best suited to their unique situation, and to coach them along their journeys to financial security success.

Richard Chen

Richard provides investment sales strategies, product and marketing support for mutual funds and segregated funds. Richard graduated from University of Victoria with Bachelor degree in Economics, Finance. Richard has variety of industry experience: Credential Asset Management, BMO Private Banking, RBC Dominion Securities, and HSBC mortgage and financial planner.

In his leisure time, Richard enjoys different interests: cuisines, badminton, golf, driving, fishing and history.

Frank Ho

Frank Ho

Frank joined London Life Mortgage Division as a New Loan Officer in 1995. At the time he was responsible for loan underwriting and approval. Then he had the opportunity working with a major bank and later as an independent mortgage broker. Frank returned to London Life as a Mortgage Planning Specialist in 2016 with extensive lending experience. Over the years Frank has served a wide variety of clientele from different cultures and all walks of life. With over 20 years of lending experience, Frank provides expert advice on mortgage financing. Frank is easy to talk to; he is result driven, and always strives to provide excellent client service.

With an interest in visual art, Frank has taken drawing and painting classes in the past and likes to attend art workshops, visit museums and frequent art galleries. Frank is also interested in languages, he can speak English, Cantonese and Mandarin, and is keen on learning a fourth one - French. In his spare time Frank loves to visit various artisan coffee shops finding a comfortable corner to read his favorite books.

Timothy Ho, CFA

Timothy Ho

Timothy has been in the financial service industry since 2003 in a wide range of roles, including Account Manager, Financial Planner, Investment Wholesaler, and recently Private Wealth Counselor. In this role he focuses on providing assistance to financial security advisors in delivering value-added services in both the individual and corporate markets.

In addition to his BA in Economics from Simon Fraser University, Timothy has worked hard to improve his investment knowledge by completing CFA program in 2008. Timothy is known for his unique investment value proposition by focusing on risk management, and a holistic approach to advisor’s business to generate growth.

As a Private Wealth Counselor with Private Wealth & Estate Services, Timothy provides assistance to financial security advisors in delivering value-added services to a select group of clients. Timothy assists with high-net worth cases of $500,000 and over.

On the personal side, Timothy has been married for over 12 years and has one son Ryan. In his spare time, Timothy enjoys snowboarding in the winter and traveling in the summer.
